ExeBowl 5 announcement!

#1

Good news everyone!

Kirton Games are pleased to announce that we have secured NAF approval for ExeBowl 5 and the tournament will be taking place on Saturday 13 October!

Full details of the event, as well as tickets are available now via our website

As we plan to live stream games on table 1 we’ll also be looking for a commentary team, so if anyone is interested either post below or let me know.

We’re also hoping to run a Kirton Cup warm up tournament ahead of ExeBowl to give coaches a chance to test out their teams, so keep an eye out for that as well.

Regrettably I’m busy for part of Oct 13th. This means however that I’ll be happy to commentate on the games that I can make :boom::studio_microphone::skull:

Well I should be able to take part, looking forward to it since I couldn’t take part last year.

I see it’s up on the NAF site now, hopefully that will attract some of the regulars. Have you posted anything on the TFF yet Jim? I think that’s the best way of reaching non-local people who have come before.

No. What’s TFF?

It’s the Talk Fantasy Football forum. In spite of the name, it has nothing to do with soccerball teams and is focussed on ‘Fantasy’ football-based board games, with most of the site being devoted to Blood Bowl of course. Here’s the link: http://talkfantasyfootball.org/

When I ran ExeBowl last year (and when Pete did before me) I posted up the details in the Upcoming Tournaments: Britain sub-section. This also has the effect of helping to ‘bagsy’ that date so that no-one else will run a competing local tournament that weekend. Here is a link to the thread I ran last year: http://talkfantasyfootball.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=43758

The details of the South West Tournament Championship are also in that sub-forum. Obviously would be good to have ExeBowl as part of it again in the 2018-19 season (which ExeBowl is usually the first event in). :slightly_smiling_face:
